Says Brendan Smith on Grist, we need to do more than just buy the “Green”-approved seafood at natural groceries. While he focuses on sustainable aquaculture more than wild-caught, the point is still clear: local fisheries are needed to preserve cultural and environmental resources.

We will explore creating a Community Supported Fishery in Gainesville, FL: regulations, consumer interest, CSF structure, group goals, and individual and fisherman involvement.
